Number 700 on the National Cycle Network (NCN) this long distance route takes around Morecambe Bay and some of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the country.

Along the route cyclists can take a break in one of the many cafes and pubs that line this excursion into the natural and rural environment.

Designed to be relaxing for the casual cyclist and family, the 81 mile route runs from Walney outside of Barrow, to Glasson just south of Lancaster

Around Morecambe and Lancaster the route follows very quiet roads, towpaths, dedicated cycle tracks and promenade

North of Morecambe and into Cumbria the route encounters mixed scenery and woodland paths, stone paths and some quieter roads.
