The Berkeley Guest House

A 12 en suite, 3 star guest house B&B with sea views and in the heart of the seafront area with excellent customer reviews highlighting and recommending for the warm welcome, cleanliness, great breakfasts, comfortable beds, good location and Bay views.

All rooms are en-suite, each unique in style and layout. There are 3 single and 6 double 2 triple and 1 family room.

Each room is individually decorated and furnished to a tasteful colour scheme and theme based around an accent colour. Images or rooms and facilities are available on the website.

Thermostatically controlled radiators heat the rooms seasonally and there are opening windows for ventilation.

The owners go out of their way to provide honest information about their facilities and work hard to maintain realistic guest expectations, high standards and service levels, for the enjoyment of their guests.

The B&B the owners describe as a place to relax and enjoy a break from "cosy, friendly, quiet relaxed atmosphere".

Dining Room and Bar

A tranquil room decorated in neutral, calming colours over a oak floor, the diner contains a combination of twin and quad tables and chairs and a discreet licensed bar is fitted into the corner where guests can buy from a selection of beers, wines and spirits, soft drinks and nibbles.

Breakfasts are cooked to order and served at your table.

Guest lounge

For guests' comfort the Berkley has a separate TV lounge with comfy chairs and sofas. From a large bay window there are views of the dramatic Morecambe Bay and some of the UK's nicest sunsets.

Due to the historic layout the B&B is not wheelchair friendly and there are 4 steps to access the front door. There are 2 guest rooms on the ground floor that people with mobility issues may prefer.  On the floor is the guest lounge.

We also stock some of the essentials that we have all left at home before such as toothpaste and brushes, shoe shine kits and sewing kits. Ironing boards and irons are available if required.

Family friendly

Families are very welcome and rooms can be recommended if you call. Being by the shore and sandy beaches the B&B has a small selection of beach toys available for the kids. Buckets, spades and fishing nets of course and maybe a ball or two. Reviews mention how informative the hosts are of the area.

The guest house has consistently won awards and maintains high standards.
