Manjushri KMC is an internationally renowned centre for meditation. The Buddhist centre and the monks make everyone welcome to enjoy the peaceful environment, visit the temple, enjoy a free guided meditation* or join one of the many programmes offered throughout the year.
Entirely free and almost guaranteed to be relaxing. There is free on-site parking. On your visit you can visit the temple, take a guided tour (small charge) of the historic house, stroll the grounds, relax in the acclaimed cafe, shop in the gift shop.
Buddhist Temple for World Peace
The ornate gold adornments are a hint to the status of the temple that houses the largest western cast Budda. Architecturally elegant and fitting for the location, the temple is visited by thousands annually who admire the artistic and architectural features and tranquility of the space. You may be lucky enough to try a free guided meditation in the temple.

The World Peace Cafe run by a crew dedicated to great food. Situated in a bright and airy conservatory with views out over the lawn. Seating is available indoors and outdoors (dog owners and families will appreciate) and available are teas, coffee, and home made soup and lunches. Gardens and Grounds
Open during daylight hours, there are almost 70 acres of gardens, woodland with walkways and streams that work their way down to the beach where you can enjoy the enchanting views of Morecambe Bay including Chapel Island.
