For a lovely family day out - miniature steam train rides, picnic and viewing area.

Take a ride on a miniature steam or diesel train around the tree lined site. Sit astride the carriage, fun for children or let them safely chase the trains around the circuit in a cloud of steam behind the fencing. See the 360 VR YouTube video below.

The area is well staffed by volunteer steam enthusiasts and surrounded by woodland so you can take a walk in the woods and picnic and play in the large inner and fenced grass area.

The attraction is funded by visitor donations the steam and diesel railway provides exciting and thrilling rides for all ages and the spot is picturesque with a good sized car park, grass playa rea and picnic tables.Events

Group Booking

The rail experience is available for donations and an excellent backdrop for many celebrations such as:

Birthday Parties - Usually Tuesday or Saturday afternoons, plus Sundays October and Easter.

Run by amazing enthusiasts. Fantastic little place, regular visitors. Very tidy & immaculate engines. Free on site parking. Love it here. Fascinating couple of laps round the scenic circuit. Excellent family visit.
