Great Sunday family fun, so join the spectacle!

Take a free Morecambe and Promenade ride in a vintage bus, or travel further to Heysham and Carnforth.

The major gathering of buses from Ribble and their joint operators includes destinations: Morecambe Football Club, Globe Arena, and the Promenade, Morecambe.

Known as the "Morecambe Running Day" locally managed and maintained these beautiful vintage Vintage buses are licensed to operate in Morecambe and along the Promenade on 26 May 2019, so don't miss it.

Based at Morecambe Leisure Park near the Midland Hotel, annually the vintage buses run along various routes form Carnforth Railway Station (with Brief Encounter museum) to Heysham village stopping along the Promenade.

Catch a vintage single Decker, double-decker or open top at various stops along the route and enjoy a tour of the area. Great event and lots of fun on these historic public transport vehicles.

The Ribble Vehicle Preservation Trust holds this annual day with a frequent bus service. Detailed timings are published closer to the event that begins at 10 am to 6pm.

On Morecambe Promenade adjacent to Midland Hotel (and at Festival Market). This is very popular with general public and enthusiasts.
